Internet Marketing Strategy - Are Private Label Rights Being Devalued

I just recieved the following email from Jeremy Burns and
I thought it would prove a useful insight for anyone
considering buying a resell rights package.
It is actually illegal to set fixed price minimums unfortunately!
The whole point of my SCGM package is to allow people to take
these products, rebrand them with new graphics and titles or even turn
them into new products and reduce their competition to zero no matter
how many $7 idiots there are out there on the net.
I have a free 2 hour audio at www.plrtips.com that talks about this in
depth, and will give some great ideas on ways to change these or
even turn then into physical products.
Will people cheap sell these? Yes, no doubt.. however if you think
about it the real money is in rebranding these products and having
a new unique product.
Can one make some money reselling them as-is. Sure, but you can
make much more rebranding or niching them.
Resellers of SCGM can not sell the source, the only way to get it is
right at my site, so that does give yo a big advantage over anyone that
may find one of the products being sold by some $7 idiot.
I also have another plr site at www.plrtips.com where i sell 2 new
plr products a month that contain a bit more to them than the scgm
products.
I do mention dime sales and such in the terms there as being against
my terms.
However again since I can not price fix I do it in a different way here.
The way I combat these cheap sellers on Plrights.com is to cancel
the account of anyone that cheap sells my products like that.
They may get away with it once but they will not be a member after
that!
If you look around the net and at the 80 products I have crested in the
past in my sales, you will not find them being sold in this manner as you
will many other products.
If rebranded however none of this matters.
I will say though anyone you ever see selling stuff like this for $7 is
just plain stupid. They are setting themselves up to only ever be
seen as a $7 outlet.
I know a marketer trying desperately to make money on the net.
Funny thing is he knows his stuff! But he can not figure out why the
heck he can’t make any money.
As an affiliate of SCGM he only sold ONE copy of my package to his
list of 12,000
Then I go with a list of only 11,000 and sell 250 copies of Joel Comm’s
Adsense templates.
Is it because my SCGM sale does not convert… ughh no I have affiliates
over 50 and 80 sales…
Its because this $7 reseller has trained his list to nothing but $7
They will never buy at a higher price than that so he makes very little.
These kind of resellers will not last, and the ones that do are destine to their
$2000 months while the big dogs all have their $200,000 months or weeks
in some cases..
At any rate… what you make or do with these is really up to you, but I assure
you if you do it right, no one else selling at any stupid price will have any
affect on what you do.
To prove this, I have taken old PLR products that used to sell for $7 or in dime
sales and now sell them as the upsell on my PLRTips.com upsell for $97
all rebranded with new graphics, titles, and sales letters.
I have sold well over $20,000 worth of those products now.. Cost out of my pocket
was around $7 plus the new graphics and time to rebrand them.
