We have total freedom because of this internet business
The lake was like glass as I slide the boat next to the dock. We lit the torches, and took a walk along the shore before the dusk started to settle in. Wading along just being nosey, chasing the minnows with every foot step until the skeeters moved us into the screen porch for the evening.
A bucket of ice, and fresh lemonade with uv blue in the candle light sounds in order for the evening. I look out over the bay, and spot a bunch of loons having a little get together of their own. Then with their haunting whistle, they take off to their summer beds before the sunset.
I’m with my honey, there’s a full moon lighting the bay, and the radio is playing the stones song wild horses. It feels very surreal with the flicker of the candles in the darkness, the sun and the wind of the day will take some time to get used to, then she melts in to my arms for the night.
We love to spend August this way. Our favorite place in the forest a few miles from the greatest little town. More than enough sandy beaches to get lost at, and stay cool. Coffee with a view of the lake before the sun chases the shadows of the morning, is our favorite way to slowly wake up.
We slowly start to motivate, and make a quick trip into town for a few things, then packed the cooler, and get the boat ready before the heat of the afternoon settles in. Were just going to hang out on a beach we found not far from our bay. It’s quite, the water is cool, and drops off perfectly.
There is no better way in our thoughts on how to spend a summers day. With blanket and umbrella for our shade, the cooler full and cold, we swim and just stay cool on this beautiful stretch of sand. We take a break from the sun, and talk about the evening, but nothing is for sure.
A couple of eagles are flying high above us, their babies probably getting ready to fledge. She lays back on the blanket, and reminds me of the power of intention, and that’s all that she needs to say. Just live in this moment for now, nothing else matters. She’s the best thing in my life.
It never used to be this easy. We realized if we kept up with the same old grind, we were only making someone else wealthy. We found an amazing internet business, and it didn’t happen over night, but we now work at home with this excellent affiliate opportunity, and do very well.
